Willoughby Dalleys Football Club was formed in 1988 by members of the Croatian community in the Chatswood / Willoughby suburbs of Sydney and was originally known as Dalmacija Soccer Club. The football (soccer) club is the sporting arm of Dalmacija Sydney Croatian Club Ltd, a social club with its licensed club premises located at Terrey Hills.

The football club joined the Northern Suburbs Football Association (formally known as Kuring-Gai & District Soccer Association) in 1988 and has remained a part of this association to this day.

1988: In its first year of competition at KDSA (now NSFA), the Club entered into the Men’s Over 30’s competition and took out the Premiership that year.

1989: The Club entered into the Men’s All Age competition for the first time, with teams in both Division 5 & 7. In addition, the licensed Clubhouse at Terrey Hills is officially opened.

1992: The Club entered into the Youth League competition for the first time, with a team in Division 1.

1993: The Club was forced to change its name from Dalmacija Soccer Club to Dalleys Soccer Club by KDSA.

1994: The Club competed in the Men’s Premier League Division for the first time, as well as the Junior League (U16’s Division 2). In addition, the Club won its first KDSA Cup.

1996: The Club entered a team for the first time into the Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament, which was hosted by Croatia Deakin Soccer Club (Canberra Football Club).

1997: The Club won its second KDSA Cup.

2004: The Club entered into the Women’s All Age competition for the first time, with a team in Division 4.

2008: The Club entered into the Girl’s Junior competition for the first time, with a team in Division 4.

2012: The Club changed its name from Dalleys Soccer Club to Willoughby Dalleys Football Club.

2014: The Club entered into the Miniroos (Junior Mixed) competition for the first time, with teams in both U6's & U8's. In addition, the Club won its first Men's Premier League Premiership title.

2014: The Club received its Level 1 Accreditation  from Football Australia's National Club Accreditiation Scheme (NCAS).

2015: The Club sent its Premier League Team to Split, Croatia to participate in friendly games against Hajduk Split and NK BSK Zmaj Blato.

2016: The Club won its first title at the Annual Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament, winning the Masters (O35’s) Grand Final in Adelaide.

2017: The Club entered into the Men’s Over 35’s competition for the first time, with a squad in Division 1.

2018: The Club won its second title at the Annual Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament, winning the Masters (O35's) Grand Final at Gold Coast.

2019: The Club breaks an all-time registration record with 185 registered players across 10 age divisions and 12 teams.

2020: The Club won its second Men's Premier League Premiership title. In addition, the Club won the NSFA's first Division Championship title in Men's Premier League.

2022: The Club enters the Australia Cup (formerley known as FFA Cup) competition for the first time. In addition, the Club won its third NSFA Cup.
